With this announcement we would like to inform the investors who hold units in MF “UBB Platinum Bulgaria”, but have not yet concluded a contract with our distributor “United Bulgarian Bank” AD, that it is recommended within 3 (three) months, until 24.06.2022, to visit a branch of the bank and to conclude a contract with the distributor.

Pursuant to the Distribution Agreement of December 5, 2018, the activity of sale and redemption of units is delegated and is performed exclusively by the “United Bulgarian Bank” AD as "KBC ASSET MANAGEMENT NV - BRANCH", Bulgaria (universal successor of UBB Asset Management EAD) continues to carry out the activity of managing the mutual funds. Through the distributor “United Bulgarian Bank” AD the quality of the services provided to investors is further enhanced and in addition to an easily accessible network of branches the investors can take advantage of the opportunity to receive personalized advice from expert investment products of the bank and benefit from the full range of custodian, information and digital services of the distributor.

We remind you that MF “UBB Platinum Bulgaria” is a receiving fund which, as a result of a merger transformation, acquired the following funds: UBB Premium Shares, UBB Patrimonium Land, UBB Global Pharm Invest, UBB Platinum Eurobonds, UBB Balanced Fund, UBB Global Dividend, UBB Global Growth, UBB Global Child Fund, as of November 12, 2021. As a consequence of the merger, the investors in the above-mentioned funds, who did not redeem their units before the transformation, have acquired by exchanging units in MF “UBB Platinum Bulgaria”.

Investors who hold units in MF “UBB Platinum Bulgaria”, but do not yet have concluded a contract with the distributor “United Bulgarian Bank” AD, will receive a letter with return receipt, with 3-month written notice for termination of their existing contracts with “KBC ASSET MANAGEMENT NV – BRANCH”, Bulgaria (universal legal successor of “UBB Asset Management” EAD), as of 24.06.2022. After the expiration of this term and in case a new contract is not concluded with the distributor “United Bulgarian Bank” AD, their units will be transferred to personal accounts in the “Central Depository” AD. This means that in the future, before the redemption, the transfer of the units from a personal account in the “Central Depository| AD to a client account in “United Bulgarian Bank” AD should be done in advance, using the services of an investment intermediary, acting as a registration agent and only then to conclude a contract with the “United Bulgarian Bank| AD in order to fulfill the orders for redemption of their units.
